Originally this post was titled Cool Resources: BookTrope. However I found out the BookTrope will be ceasing business on May 31st a few days ago. I had told myself that I would check it out more when I had more time.

This happened a few months ago with Oyster. As soon as I have more time I’ll check it out. Except they closed doors before I had a chance to do so.

I’ve been saying the same thing about updating this blog and the resources, as soon as I have more time. But if I want to get this business off the ground I will need to start working now. Otherwise all the things I want to check out and talk about will be gone. Granted they will probably be replaced other things to talk about (like Scribd or BookBaby).

Don’t be a procrastinating waiter. I’m making strides to not be either. I’m going to try to post at least once a week and build it up to daily posts over several months. I have some cool things in the pipeline but they’re going to take time like interesting resource posts, fun data analysis with Harry Potter and other popular fictional universes, and interviews with creators at various stages of “making it.”
